The assignment of writing this article was given to us for the 2nd week of the Digital Deepak Internship program. I feel this is a great way to learn by doing it practically as it will give me a wide picture of digital marketing.

Digital Deepak is the personal brand that Deepak sir has created with his experience of more than 10 years in this field. The very first thing he has thought us is about the success mindset. As he says nothing can be achieved without the right mindset.

Deepak Sir has told us about setting goals and different ways to achieve them. He gave us an example of goal setting of savings of 1 crore rupees and also showed us some easy strategies to achieve it.

The major topics covered in week 2 are, as below.

  1. The Law of Marketing

Marketing is all about building trust with your customers. A marketer should have excellent spoken and written communication skills, a creative and open-minded approach, strong organizational and planning abilities, and proven team leadership qualities. He must talk to customers like we talk to our friends.

If we cannot converse well in 1:1, then we can never do with 1: many.

2. Traditional Marketing vs Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing is using digital channels such as websites and social media as tools for marketing communication.

Traditional marketing, on the other hand, involves traditional channels like billboards and printed media, newspaper ads, etc.

The main difference between digital marketing and traditional marketing is the medium through which we can spread the marketing message. Traditional marketing is not completely dead. Traditional marketing still plays an important role in people’s life. While digital marketing uses every touchpoint of your daily routine as the use of the internet has increased tremendously.

3. How to define your target audience.

Everyone is not your audience. If you try to target everyone while marketing you will never be able to build an audience. If you try to target a teen for baby diapers you will be only wasting your marketing resources. You need to target a particular audience for a particular product. The target audiences can be described to a group of people or organizations on your target marketing. Therefore we need to make the effective description where they simply get analyzed to the product,it should make it very much sensible to hear and understand.the audience need to get focused on the product.on what basis we made and it should really be effective in the sense of uses, safety measures, product quality, advertising way, and the product marketing commercial value need to be described your target market audience.

4. CATT Marketing Funnel.

CATT funnel is how your audience will go through the entire journey with you. Things that you should know before you start to market the product. Marketing starts even before you make the product. The first step of marketing is to identify the customer and their needs. The next step is to create a product that meets the customer’s needs. The core of marketing lies in understanding your customer. Once you know your customer well your life is pretty easy.

Marketing is closely related to customer psychology. This is why artificial intelligence can never replace marketing.

Marketing is about sending the right message to the right person at the right time.

5. Integrated Marketing

As Deepak sir says integrated digital marketing is the art and craft of using all the digital marketing methods. some of the common digital marketing methods are as below.

Integrated Digital marketing is all our marketing channels should work in a synchronized manner and in coordination with one other for the best results.
